WHO? The Fort Farmers Market proudly hosts 36+ vendors each Saturday and over 50+ vendors at our monthly Arts Saturdays (last Saturday of the month). Farmers, bakers, crafters, gardeners and community groups come from Fort Atkinson, Jefferson County and some nearby counties – all mostly within a 30 mile radius. Products include: Vegetables & Fruit (including Certified Organic); Baked Goods (including Gluten Free); Pickled & Jam Products; Beef, Pork, Chicken, Goat & Lamb; Cheese & Eggs; Marshmallows, Honey & Maple Syrup; Jewelry, Woodcraft & Textiles; Plants and Flower Bouquets. WHERE? The Fort Atkinson Farmers Market is located 1 block off of South Main Street just across the street from the Fort Atkinson Post Office on Milwaukee Ave. The main entrances are on South Water St and through the Theater Bathrooms on Milwaukee St. Parking is avaible on the South Water Street Parking Lot near the Police Station or on side streets.
WHEN? May thru October; Saturday mornings from 8am – 12pm
**Winter Markets: The first Saturday of December the Fort Farmers Market hosts a Holiday Farmers & Arts market in multiple locations in downtown Fort Atkinson. This one day event in December has over 70 farmers and arts vendors and typically runs 9am to 3pm. In addition, Mini-Winter Markets occur the first Saturday of each month January thru April at the Fort Atkinson Club Community Center 9am to 12pm. The”mini-market” with 16 vendors is named so because our farmer offerings are a bit more limited then our regular season market.
The Fort Farmers Market is sponsored by The Fort Atkinson Chamber of Commerce and is supported by numerous local businesses, community partners and volunteers.
